Lydia Callis is a nationally certified sign language interpreter, the owner of LC Interpreting Services, LLC, and a proud CODA from 3 generations of deaf family who cherishes ASL as her native language. She has made it her life's work to assist in bridging the gaps between deaf and hearing culture through communication and empowerment, and to help raise awareness about issues that affect the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. She has extensive experience establishing personal, professional, and governmental relationships that leave a positive impact. Lydia is the Founder of Innovative Inclusion.
Erika Murray is a sign language interpreter with extensive field experience and a strong background in professional development and leadership. Hailing from a large Deaf family that spans across multiple generations, Erika is an ASL native who grew up immersed in the Deaf community. Her lifelong passion for Deaf culture motivates her work within the community, where she strives to empower people with the tools they need to create new and meaningful connections. She is a Co-Creator on the Core Team of Innovative Inclusion.
Kat Brady holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications, with a professional background in the technology sector and nearly a decade of community management and digital marketing experience. She considers herself an intersectional ally and advocate, utilizing her privileges and personal platforms to amplify social issues that impact marginalized communities, while offering support for grassroots movements and organizations that seek to create social justice. Kat brings her enthusiasm for excellent customer service, as well as capable writing and strong professional communication skills to the Innovative Inclusion team as a Co-Creator.
Vicky Foster is a proud RIT/NTID Alumni who currently serves as Accounting Manager at LC Interpreting Services, LLC. Born the only deaf child in a hearing family, Vicky’s parents moved from Japan to Rochester, NY, the American city with the highest per-capita Deaf population, when she was young to ensure she would have the highest quality access to education. She has a history of working with diverse groups in the deaf community, and comprehensive skills in communication and organizational leadership, as well as formal training and years of hands on experience in event coordination. Vicky serves on the advisory board for Innovative Inclusion.
